EYECANDYAIR was able to catch up with a member of our goalie family
Justin Morton from Chatsworth, CA
To do this special exclusive one-on-one interview!

ECA: What inspired you to be a goalie?
JM: I have always naturally been flexible and love to rob a guy and see the look on his face!EYECANDYAIR Goalie Mask Airbrush Painting

ECA: How old were you when you started?
JM: I played street hockey when I was little, but didnt start playing ice hockey until a little more than a year ago when I was 23. Parents were never really in to hockey and had me playing other sports.

ECA: What is the highest level you have played?
JM: Just level two in a mens league, had a local college coach ask me to come and try out for his team though. He couldn't believe that I had just stared playing.

ECA: Did you ever have a goalie coach?
JM: Took two lessons with a guy, but couldn't afford it.

ECA: What style of goaltending do you play?
JM: Butterfly, with a little "HASEK"

ECA: How many times a week do you play?
JM: Three at least, two games and a practice.EYECANDYAIR Goalie Mask Airbrush Painting

ECA: What are your strengths?
JM: Glove and flexibility.

ECA: Care to add weaknesses?
JM: Beer, and girls! Oh, and I wish I were a little taller. HAHAHA...

ECA: Who is your favourite NHL goalie?
JM: If I had to choose I guess it would be Turco or Garon.

ECA: What type of gear are you wearing?
JM: All RBK.

ECA: Do you have any game superstitions?
JM: Ya I never set the net, and I tap my mask and post crossing my self 3 times before the first twice in the second and once in the third. Oh and write my Mom and Grandmas names on my stick.

ECA: Any advice to other goalies out there?
JM: For us smaller goalies keep up the flexibility, and quickness.

ECA: Anything else you'd like to add?
JM: In the first three games I used my mask I held two of the highest scoring teams in the league two one goal, got a shutout and stopped a penalty shot in OT. So its brought me some luck, hopefully if you get a Steve Nash mask it will bring you some luck to.
